Brits Owned 10th Annual European Poker Awards

Few weeksago, Jake Cody’s immense success in 2010 was all recognized and honored, as the Rochdale pro was awarded the European Poker Awards “Rookie of the Year” and “Player of the Year” titles at the Queenie Club in Paris.

With an EPT title, WPT bracelet aside from over $1,700,000 in live tournament winnings, Cody was perhaps the UK’s most successful player in 2010.

At same event, Cody wasn’t the only Brit honored in Paris this week. Rising female star Liv Boeree was capped “Europe’s Leading Lady” ahead of Annette Obrestad after her EPT San Remo win last April, while WSOPE Main Event champ James Bord claimed the “Outstanding Tournament Performance” award.
