GIAMPP Takes Down FTOPS XIX Main Event Title

The first ever Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) event was initiated in August of 2006. Now, it has become a massive online poker tournament; by November 2010 the FTOPS XVIII included 34 events and over $19 million in prize money.

FTOPS XIX in February 2011 hosted 45 events plus a huge total guaranteed prize pool.

This even played down a huge field of 14,479 entrants. However, GIAMPP managed to win the tournament using just one entry. At the final table, when just three players was left a deal was made to divide up the prize pool that totaled just over $2.8 million. “GIAMPP” completed in first place claiming $877,949.74 in prize winnings, while Blair Hinkle finished as runner-up with a staggering amount of $1,162,949.74.
