EPT Copenhagen: Boasts prize pool of € 2,023,496 to share
Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, received one of the major steps of the European Poker Tour (EPT) circuit. The Main Event with an entry fee of € 5,000 was graced by 449 players, which is a real success for the event.
For this seventh edition, 64 players will have the opportunity to be paid and have a share of the prize pool totaling € 2,023,496 of which € 500,000 will be awarded to the champion and € 328,600 for the runner up.
After the first two days of competition, only 262 survivors remained on Day 2. Characteristically, Nordic players were present in great numbers. And they are known for their aggressive style of play.
